The Taiwan MOST Scholarship Program is offered by Ministry of Science and Technology（MOST）of the Republic of China（Taiwan）for foreign students to pursue Master or Doctoral Degrees in Taiwan to foster scientific exchange between Taiwan and foreign countries.
Malaysians with a Bachelor degree and proof of English language proficiency: TOEFL score or a recognized English proficiency score, or graduation from a program where all courses were taught in English. Those applying for courses taught in Chinese are required to show proof of Chinese language proficiency via Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) conducted by the Taiwanese authority with reading and listening score at Level 2.
Value of Award:
Monthly stipends NT$30,000 for maximum of 2 years for Master program.
Monthly stipends NT$30,000 for maximum of 3 years for Doctoral program.
The above serves as monthly stipend. Tuition, accommodation, books, medical insurance, airfare and other expenses are the responsibility of the applicants.
