Taiwan MOE Scholarship (Deadline: 31 Mar. 2018)


The Taiwan MOE Scholarship is offered by Ministry of Education(MOE)of the Republic of China(Taiwan)for foreign students to pursue higher education in Taiwan. It serves to enable the world to appreciate the academic environment of Taiwan and to promote better understanding and friendship between Taiwan and the world.


Malaysian citizens with Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan (STPM), Unified Exam. Certificate (UEC), A-Level or equivalent for those applying for undergraduate study and a Bachelor degree for those applying for postgraduate study.

Those applying for courses taught in Chinese are required to show proof of Chinese language proficiency via Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL); and for courses taught in English, proof of English language proficiency: TOEFL score or a recognized English proficiency score, or graduation from a program where all courses were taught in English is required.

Value of Award:

NT$ 40,000 per semester for tuition and miscellaneous expenses.

For undergraduate study, an additional monthly stipend of NT$15,000 for 4 years; and for postgraduate study, an additional monthly stipend of NT$ 20,000 for 2 years for Master Program and 4 years for Doctoral Program.
