The International Cooperation and Development Fund of Taiwan (TaiwanICDF) is dedicated to boosting socio-economic development, enhancing human resources and promoting economic relations in a range of developing partner countries.
To carry out its mission, it offers a range of assistance that centers on four core operations: lending and investment, technical cooperation, humanitarian assistance, and international education and training.
The International Higher Education Scholarship Program was initiated in 1998 via collaboration with a group of Taiwanese universities to offer scholarships to foreign students for a number of English-language courses, up to and including Ph.D. level. There are a total of 23 study programs available for Malaysians.
For Malaysian students, it is open to those planning to pursue specified Master or Doctoral Degree program in Partner Universities of ICDF. Applicants are required to show proof of English language proficiency such as TOEFL or equivalent.
Value of Awards:
One direct round-trip economy-class ticket, student dormitories, tuition fees, credit fees, insurance, textbook costs and monthly allowance ( NTD 15,000 for Master students & NTD 17,000 for Doctoral degree students )..
Duration of Awards:
Master’s Degree Course: Up to 2 years;
Doctorate Degree Course: Up to 4 years.
