MYCorps is an international programme for Malaysian youth to empower themselves with extraordinary abilities and character resilience through an intensive training and life-changing international volunteer programme. It is an initiative fully sponsored by the Malaysian Ministry of Youth & Sports,
MYCorps brings together Malaysians from all walks of life. Through it, one will gain hands on experience in various fields, immerse in different cultures and solve local challenges with like-minded individuals. It is also an opportunity to discover one’s passion, realize one’s purpose, and unlock one’s potential to do great things.
The next Programme is Cambodia: Mission 2, a volunteer programme in Cambodia. It last for about three and a half month — from 3 Sept -19 Dec 2016, including training prior to departing to Cambodia and the Cambodian Mission itself. Details are as follows:
Open to all Malaysians, male or female between 18-30 years old; ability to converse in basic English; passionate about developing leadership, communication and team abilities and contribute to the world in a positive way as well as being ready for an adventure.
Support before Programme
Candidates will be equipped with the relevant skills needed while on the Mission through the Service Training Programme. In addition, one is encouraged to share one’s talents with the organizer so that it may be made good use of in the programme.
MYCorps is a fully sponsored programme by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), therefore there will not be any fees charged.
Apply online via www.mycorps.my on a registration form with a video not more than 2 minutes, answering “Why do you want to be part of MyCorps?”.
Registrants will undergo a selection process to qualify for participation and will be notified whether or not one has qualified for the final screening round. All communication will be via emails
