German High-Skill Professional Training in Malaysia ( Free Tuition, with Allowance & Government Recognized Program )

In an effort to meet German, local and foreign companies’ needs for high skilled workers in Malaysia, the Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MGCC) is coordinating and certifying the following four training courses under its German Dual Vocational Training (GDVT) initiative:

  • Industrial Management;
  • Logistics Operation Management;
  • Mechatronics;
  • Electronics Automation Technology (beginning in 2018)

Courses are recognized by the Malaysian government and open to school leavers or for upskilling of existing workforce. Training companies are paying a training allowance monthly to their trainees. No additional tuition fee is charged!

Training Features:

Entry Requirements:

  • SPM/UEC/Matriculation/’O’ Level or equivalent; or SKM Level 1 or 2; or STPM;
  • Credit in Maths & Physics (technical training, i.e. for Mechatronics & Electronic Automation Technology);
  • Reasonable Command of English;
  • Interest in a combination of theoretical & practical training;
  • Self-confidence & initiative.

Duration:

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

  1. Where is the college?

This is not a conventional college course. It is a high-skill professional training course, coordinated and certified by the Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MGCC), which represents the German companies and its local and foreign member companies in Malaysia and facilitates trade between Germany and Malaysia.

The practical training (70% of the training) is conducted at one of the German companies located in Malaysia. This is also the company which interviews and selects you. The theoretical classroom training (30% of the training) is conducted at German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) at Bangi, Selangor or Penang Skill Development Centre (PSDC) in Penang

  1. Is accommodation provided?

There are sponsored student hostels at GMI.  Arrangement and cost of accommodation at PSDC and at training companies are the responsibilities of students.

  1. Is the training conducted in German language or English Language? Is it a full-time or part-time course?

The training is conducted 100% in English and is a full-time training.

  1. How do I know if I am selected?

Selected candidates will be called for an interview by the training company. Those who are successful will be subsequently informed.

  1. Is there a bond?

Students would need to sign a training contract for the entire training duration of 3-3.5 years. Some companies will offer a bonding contract to serve the company upon graduation, some won’t. However, in most instances, trainees end up working for the company where they have received training.

  1. Can I continue study in Germany or anywhere with the qualifications earned from this training?

Certificates from abroad have to be approved by the following German organization: Foreign Skill Approval (FOSA), on an individual basis.

 

Kursus Kemahiran Profesional Tahap Tinggi Jerman (Tiada Yuran dikenakan,  Elaun disediakan, Diiktiraf Kerajaan)

Di dalam usaha untuk memenuhi keperluan pekerja mahir oleh Industri Jerman dan industri asing lain serta industri tempatan di Malaysia, Dewan Perniagaan Perindustrian German-Malaysia sedang mengkordinasi dan memberi sijil kepada empat kursus kemahiran tahap tinggi

  • Pengurusan Industri;
  • Pengurusan Operasi Logistik;
  • Mekatronik;
  • Teknologi Automasi Elektronik (Mulai dari tahun 2018)

Kursus diiktiraf oleh kerajaan Malaysia.dan terbuka kepada belia yang telah menamatkan persekolahan serta golongan pekerja yang ingin meningkatkan kemahiran mereka. Syarikat membiayai elaun latihan dan peserta tidak dikenakan sebarang yuran.

Ciri-Ciri Program:

  • Memenuhi tren global, pembangunan Industri Malaysia serta keperluan pasaran;
  • Direkabentuk mengikut Sistem Latihan Kemahiran Bekembar Jerman (DVT) yang termasyhur;
  • Tiada yuran yang dikenakan;
  • Elaun latihan bulanan disediakan;
  • Penginapan semasa latihan disediakan dengan tajaan (pilihan);
  • Kelayakan diiktiraf secara berkembar: Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM/NOSS Tahap 5); dan German Chamber Certificate (AHK);

SOALAN LAZIM DITANYA

  1. Di manakah lokasi kolej?

Ini bukanlah satu kolej yang konvensional, sebaliknya ia merupakan kursus latihan profesional tahap tinggi yang dijalankan oleh Dewan Perniagaan & Perindustrian Jerman-Malaysia yang mewakili syarikat Jerman serta ahli syarikat asing lain dan syarikat tempatan di Malaysia, dan juga sebagai penyelaras perdagangan antara Jerman dan Malaysia.

Latihan Praktikal (merupakan 70% kandungan kursus) dijalankan di salah sebuah syarikat Jerman yang terdapat di dalam negara. Ianya juga merupakan lokasi pemilihan dibuat. Latihan teori yang merupakan 30% kandungan kursus akan dijalankan di Institusi Malaysia Jerman (GMI) terletak di Bangi, Selangor atau Pusat Pembangunan Kemahiran Pulau Pinang (PSDC) di Pulau Pinang.

  1. Adakah kemudahan penginapan disediakan?

Terdapat penginapan untuk peserta yang dibiayai di asrama GMI. Pengurusan penginapan dan kos penginapan di PSDC serta di syarikat latihan adalah menjadi tanggungjawab peserta.

  1. Adakah kursus ini akan dikendalikan dalam bahasa Jerman atau Bahasa Inggeris?

Adakah kursus ini akan dijalankan sepenuh masa atau separa masa?

Kursus ini sepenuhnya (100%) akan dikendalikan dalam Bahasa Inggeris; dan secara sepenuh masa.

  1. Bagaimana saya tahu yang saya terpilih?

Peserta yang dipilih akan dimaklumkan untuk menghadiri temuduga; dan seterusnya mereka yang berjaya dipilih akan dimaklumkan.

  1. Adakah sebarang ikatan dikenakan?

Peserta perlu menandatangani satu perjanjian latihan untuk tempoh 3-3.5 tahun. Sesetengah syarikat menawarkan ikatjanji untuk berkhidmat selepas menamatkan kursus manakala syarikat yang lain tidak membuat demikian. Walaubagaimana pun, pada kebiasaannya, peserta akan bekerja dengan syarikat di mana mereka telah menjalankan latihan.

  1. Adakah saya boleh menyambung pengajian di Jerman atau lain tempat menggunakan kelayakan yang saya perolehi daripada kursus ini?

Sijil-sijil dari negara asing akan diiterima mengikut budi bicara organasasi  ‘Foreign skill Approval (FOSA)’ di Jerman.
