AIESEC Global Citizen Project


AIESEC is a global platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential.  It is a non-profit and independent organization established in 1948 in 7 European countries by Jean Choplin (France), Bengt Sjostrand (Sweden) and Dr. Albert Kaltenthaler (Germany).  Today, it spans 126 countries and territories and is run by the youth.

AIESEC Global Citizen Project is a youth exchange program for the youth to gain an overseas experience to develop soft skills and have better understanding on their passion.

Below are some useful information on the Program:


Between 18-30 years old, at least 6 weeks availability, speak and understand basic English, passionate and motivated for personal and society development.

Support before Exchange

Application guidance, insurance and visa support, outgoing preparation seminar, skills workshop before matching and participation in AIESEC events.

Support during Exchange

Airport pick-up, arrival orientation, coaching support, and a local AIESEC buddy for support.

Support after Exchange

Welcome home party to share stories, AIESEC membership.


Flight ticket, living expenses, travel insurance, RM600 AIESEC administration fee ( after passing interview ), and possible free housing but not guaranteed.
